Adult Case Management Services
Case Management is an outreach program that meets individuals or families at a time and location of their choice (home, agencies, park, etc.). Case Managers help the individuals or families recognize strengths and assist in using those strengths to achieve specific goals identified by the individuals. Case Management services are available in Indiana, Armstrong, Clearfield, and Jefferson counties.

Children in the Middle
This is a court-mandated program to assist parents struggling with issues of divorce and custody. This is one time parenting education class designed to teach parents how to avoid placing their children in the middle of their adult difficulties. This service is offered in our Indiana office.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services
Psychiatric Rehabilitation is a non-clinical adult program designed to promote recovery for people with psychiatric disabilities and encourage them to live more independently. The program offers groups in the domains of living, learning, social, vocational, and educational. Psychiatric Rehabilitation will work closely with the individual in the following areas: Skills Building, Community Resources, Daily Living Activities, Job Preparation/Communication, Nutrition, Healthy Living and Socialization. Psychiatric Rehabilitation services are offered in our Indiana, Punxsutawney, and DuBois offices, as well as a site based facility at 501 East Market Street, Suite 6 in Clearfield.

Psychiatric Services
The focus of this department is to combine treatment with community outreach and education, advocacy for clients and their families, case management and involvement with other agencies. These services are specifically geared toward individuals who are discharged from state hospitals, have had numerous community hospitalizations or require long-term medication management. Psychiatric services are offered in our Indiana, DuBois, and Clearfield offices and through Tele-psychiatry in our Punxsutawney office.

 

Outpatient Individual and Group Therapy
Provided through Outpatient Services, this department offers over 20 specialized therapy groups to address the needs of adults and families. Individual, group, marital and family psychotherapy and counseling for all ages are available. Outpatient Services are available in our Indiana, Punxsutawney, DuBois, and Clearfield offices.

The following outpatient groups are currently offered for adults:
- Anger Management Group – Indiana and DuBois Offices
- Anxiety Group – DuBois Office
- Bipolar Group – Indiana and DuBois Offices
- C.O.D. Group (Co-Occurring Disorders) – Indiana and DuBois Offices
- Clozaril Group – Indiana Office
- DBT Group (Dialectal Behavioral Therapy) – Indiana Office
- Depression Group – DuBois Office
- Eating Disorder Group – Indiana Office
- EOP Group (Enhanced Outpatient Program) – DuBois Office
- G.O.O.D. Group (Getting Out of Depression) – Indiana Office
- IMR Group (Illness Management & Recovery) – Indiana, DuBois, and Clearfield Offices
- LGBTQI Group (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender, Questioning, Intersex) – Indiana Office
- Life Skills Group for Adults – Indiana Office
- Living with Loss – Indiana Office
- Medical Support Group – Indiana Office
- Men Toward Non-Violence Group – Indiana Office
- Men’s Group – Indiana Office
- Parenting Support Group – Indiana Office
- Sex Offender Group – Indiana Office
- SGA Group (Second Generation Antipsychotic) – Indiana Office
- Women’s Group – Indiana Office
- Women’s Trauma Group – Indiana Office
- WRAP Group (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) – Indiana Office
*Additional groups may be developed and implemented as consumer need arises.

Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Services
This program utilizes evidenced-based therapeutic approaches to substance abuse/dependency treatment. Additional components of treatment offered are family/concerned others therapy, opioid replacement counseling, individualized aftercare planning, and recovery support services. Current services include Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient services. Outpatient therapists are trained in both mental health and drug & alcohol therapy to better treat the consumer for co-occurring disorders. Outpatient Drug & Alcohol services are available in our DuBois and Clearfield offices.

Certified Recovery Specialist
A Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) provides peer support services, serves as a peer advocate, and provides information and support in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. A CRS will interact safely and effectively with peers to: assist peers in determining reasonable and holistic steps moving toward recovery, assist peers in identifying barriers and overcoming barriers to recovery goals, assist peers in identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills, observe and reinforce positive progress that peers make toward recovery goals, teach problem-solving skills, and utilize his/her unique recovery experience to teach and role model the value of every individual’s recovery experience.

Intensive Outpatient Therapy
Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP) is intensive, short-term therapy involving both group and individual treatment, based on the client's need and goals. IOP is offered in our Indiana, Punxsutawney, DuBois, and Clearfield offices.

Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program is an intensive treatment format offering group and individual psychotherapy. Family Therapy is also available. Adult Partial offers two types of treatment, Sub-Acute and Acute. Sub-Acute Partial meets 3 days a week, 6 hours a day and provides group therapy focused on many topics. Acute Partial meets 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. It is designed for an individual who is at the highest risk of hospitalization. The program pays special attention to personal medication management and illness management and recovery. Psychiatric services are provided within the program by our Psychiatrists. Adult Partial Hospitalization is offered at our Indiana office.
